So unless MSI pulls off some miracle with one of their MSI Center modules, I would expect that just installing MSI Center will make your battery life even worse. Needless to say, I immediately uninstalled MSI Center/Mystic Light, with no plans to reinstall it. A +20 DegC increase in temperature, just by installing MSI Center and Mystic Light?!?! 🤮 Contexte: J'ai essay d'installer 'MSI Center', puis j'ai ralis que j'avais probablement besoin de 'MSI Dragon Center'. when I installed the newer MSI Center onto my Win11 PC and just installed the "Mystic Light" module - but NOT actively running Mystic Light - I saw my CPU Temperature jump up and stay pretty constant around 56 Deg C. I followed this guide exactly but couldnt reach the 68W draw PL1 at first. Just a heads up for anyone reading this post. The CPU temperature doesn't randomly spike up by 10 DegC every few seconds and jump around like it did when running Win10. Helped me with a MSI GL65 Leopard same cpu but 2070 Super.
Under my fresh Win11 installation, my CPU temperature is almost rock-solid at 35 DegC when my PC is sitting idle.
However, I can tell you this: I have an LED CPU temperature display on my motherboard, which I refer to frequently to see if my CPU is running hot. I have a X570-based motherboard, so we aren't comparing apples-to-apples. The new MSI Center allows you to load individual MSI applications/modules instead of the whole kit-and-caboodle that Dragon Center constantly forces you to load (and reload if you remove something manually). If you were going to install anything for your MSI laptop, you should install the much newer and significantly improved MSI Center. Turns out that Dragon Center is basically malware and messes up all of. It is both terrible AND horrible, with a ton of bloatware. I installed Dragon Center a few weeks ago in order to control the RGB on my new mobo.
